Step 1: Prepare to Carve

Prepare to carve your Sparky pumpkin by downloading and printing the attached file. Place the printed image on the pumpkin on the spot you want carved and hold it with several pushpins to keep it still.

Take another pushpin and trace the image by poking the pushpin in and along the lines until the whole image tracing is transferred to the pumpkin. Remove paper. Use these as your cutting lines.

Carve pumpkin with suitable pumpkin carving knife, preferably a serrated edge.

Place in your room on on the porch with a safe candle or light and enjoy!
