I made a lightsaber out of a pool noodle for a halloween project.

Step 1: First You Need to Go Get a Pool Noodle, and Cut It Down to Your Prefered Length.

Then you will need to get some paint and paint on the hilt.

Then get a light strip and put in in the pool noodle.

Step 4: Step 4

It should look something like this.

Step 5: Final

This is what it looks like with the light off. For better results use a solid led light strip.
