Introduction: Striped Spring Vases
Grab an old record player and some thrift store vases and make some beautiful striped vases for spring!

Step 2: You'll Need
An old record player
Americana Gloss Enamels
Cardboard
Tape
Glass vases
Rubbing alcohol
Paintbrushes
Step 3: Prep the Record Player
Make a stack of cardboard disks the size of a vinyl record
Cut a hole in the center of one side to fit over the spindle
Clean your vases with rubbing alcohol
Tape a vase to the center of the cardboard
Pick your favorite colors of Americana Gloss Enamels
Turn on the record player and start painting stripes
Step 4:
For an opaque look, wait about 30 minutes and give it a second coat of paint
Step 5: Paint and Bake
For a translucent look, only use one coat of paint
Bake twice for 30 minutes at 325˚ letting the oven cool in between

I LOVE this project!!! Im an activity director at an assisted living home, i'm always looking for fresh ideas that are easy enough for the residents with limited hand mobility to enjoy as well. This is perfect!
