Introduction: Superhero Wall Decor

About: Just a dude who likes to build stuff.

Supplies
Foam: 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm will work. (I have even used a 2mm for the yellow Batman symbol to glue on a 5mm piece)
Xacto knife(or any kind of sharp blade, be careful not to cut yourself)
Printer(obviously)
Card-stock to print emblem on
Image of your choosing. (Google logos, emblems)
Paint of your choosing(spray paint or acrylic gloss)
Cutting board to cut out the image.
Paint brushes if you're using acrylic gloss
Scissors to cut image out of paper
PVA Glue

Step 1: Step 1. Print Your Image

Find an image that you would like to make into a wall decoration and print it on the card-stock paper.

Step 2: Step 2: Cut Out the Image

Cut the image out using scissors or the xacto knife. See images.

Step 3: Step 3: Trace and Cut

Once you have the image cut out, place it on your foam sheet and trace the image/cut out image as you trace.

Step 4: Step 4: Coat With Glue

Next you will coat the foam with a few layers of PVA glue. Let it dry completely. Remember to get the inside/edge portions of the design.

Step 5: Step 5: Paint the Design

Next is to paint the design. I used acrylic gloss, but you can use spray paint if you want. A few coats should work fine.

Step 6: Step 6: Done.

After you have painted it you are done. Note: I took a piece of cardboard, dipped it in metallic silver paint and marked the design to make it look like it's been roughed up a bit. This gives it a little more detail to make it look metal.
