Introduction: TV Fish Tank / Aquarium
Hi internet,
Here is the second TV Fish Tank \ Aquarium i made.
First one here: https://www.instructables.com/id/TV-Fish-Tank-Aquar...
Tools:
Screwdriver
Scissors
Pliers
Saw (maybe)
Step 1:
Remove the internals of the TV, leave external buttons if possible (may be able to use them to turn on lights, filters)
Step 2:
i was able to salvage a small fluorescent light from another 'all in one' type of tank. Fit perfectly inside againts where the speaker and the channel buttons were. i glued that in and wired it up to the TV power button.
Step 3:
Measure the inside of the TV for the fish tank. I was going to try and make the tank myself but everyone suggested i get it made so i gave the dimensions to [https://www.amazingamazon.com.au] and they built the tank for me in a few days.
Step 4: Sand, filter, Mini Buddha monk type thing. fish, water, boom.

How do you handle and dispose of dangerous parts of the tv? I watched a youtube video on the same diy and everyone says its super dangerous because of tubing found inside.

Fantastic. I think it's a great idea to make a different aquarium. And also, you can see a better quality content on your tv ;)
Imagination to the power.
Thank you very much for sharing.

I always wanted to do this as a kid! How hard was it to gut the tv? Does the flourescent light stay cool enough when housed inside the tv frame? I'd be worried about the trapped heat.

Hi Ashley, doesn't really get that hot at all.
