Teddy Bear (chocolate stuffed) Bread

I baked this bread for my daughter. She loves teddy bear and chocolates. Hence, I decided to make chocolate stuffed teddy bear bread. She was so excited to see and she just loved the bread. It is a very simple recipe. The bread is so soft and delicious. Please try out this recipe, you will definitely like it. Thanks for reading.

Step 1: Ingredients

The ingredients you will need
2 cups of All purpose floor
3/4 cup of warm milk + some milk for brushing the bread dough
3/4 tbsp of active dry yeast
1 tbsp of sugar
1 tsp of salt
2 tbsp of vegetable oil
1 bar of milk chocolate
Some raisins for bear's eyes and nose

Step 2: Making of Dough

In a small bowl add warm milk, sugar, salt and yeast. stir well and rest for 10 minutes or until the yeast completely dissolved in the milk.

Take a large bowl, add all purpose flour, yeast mixture and knead for few minutes.

Add little water to make the dough right consistency. Finally add oil and knead well.

Close the dough with plastic wrap/ lid. Rest for 1 hour.

Step 3: Teddy Bear Bread

After an hour, the dough should doubled the size. Knead it again using oil.

Divide the dough into 9 portions ( 2 big size and 6 small size) and roll into balls.

Line the baking tray with baking sheets.

Take a big size dough and make it like small disc, Place some pieces of chocolate bars in the center and bring the edges to seal.

Place the bun in baking tray and repeat the process for stomach, legs, hands and ears.

Arrange the stuffed dough balls like teddy bear shape. Keep raisins for the eyes, nose and navel.

Brush the bun with milk and cover it with lid / plastic wrap, let it sit for 10 minutes.

Step 4: Bake It Up

Preheat oven to 200 deg C


Bake the buns for 20 to 30 minutes or until it turns golden brown color. ( mine took 26 minutes)

Brush with some butter on top of the bread and serve warm with coffee / tea.
