The Color Road is a fun, quick game for people of all ages. This game is used to spend a bit of time with your family after a tiring day at school/work. This is easy to play and set up! This Instructables will help you make one for your very own family! Get started below.

Step 1: Gather Materials

The first thing you need to do is to gather your materials:

- Cardboard (whatever size you wish to make a favorable game-board size).

- Multiple colored pencils.

- A sharpie.

- 3D Printer (optional on whether you 3D print your characters)

- Paper (for action cards and rule book)

- Dice

- Access Computer (for Tinkercad and Printing Rules/Action Cards)

Step 2: Draw Out Map

Next, you need to draw out your game board. Take the sharpie and draw out a map that is long and full of turns and a few dead ends. This will be important in the end. Once you have the desired outline of the board, make lines within the outline to create spaces. Make multiple spaces for your game to be a reasonable length. When you have a turn into a dead end, draw an arrow pointing in two opposite directions. Finally, color each square whatever colors you choose.

Step 3: Make Game Characters

The third step in making The Color Road is making the characters. You can do this by going into Tinkercad and 3D printing at least 4 characters. You can mix and match different things to create a desired character. You can also make characters by hand if that is what you want to do. Make sure that you make at least 4 characters, no matter what you do. If you use Tinkercad, you will need access to a 3D Printer to print out your characters.

Step 4: Make Game Cards

The fourth step in making The Color Road is making the Game Cards. The Game Cards are the action cards that help you move up and down across the board. You can hand write these but that will be extremely hard. You can make game cards that are super harmful or helpful. Make the cards how you want to. Make multiple cards that will suffice for 4 players drawing about 30-ish times. Some cards can be a duplicate. Make a set of special cards that benefit you largely. These cards will be drawn when you choose to go into a dead end.

Step 5: Make Rulebook
