This is a step by step tutorial on how to make a beautiful piece of art for your home using glue, corks, and a picture frame.

Step 1: Collect Your Corks

Yes you'll have to beg, barter, steal (I don't endorse this), purchase or drink to get all these corks but in the end you will have some fun stories and awesome art!

Step 2: Arrange Corks

Decide what arrangement or style you want your corks to be glued down as.

I went with champagne corks for the outer rim and then did a free hand style for the remainder.

Step 3: Glue Cork

Next step is the fun part GLUE! You know you always loved playing with glue as a child, we all did.

I started by gluing down the the champagne corks around the outer edge of the frame. Next I went one by one and glued each wine cork to fit my pattern.

This can be time consuming so start at the edge of one corner and work your way across. This way if you need to stop and take a break for a few hours, or days you can just pick up where you left off.

Don't worry too much about excess glue because the great thing about glue is it dries clear!
