Totally Recycled Notepad With Pencil / Bloc De Notas Con Lapiz

Using ordinary materials within reach, you can make an useful notepad with pencil. So you don't waste time trying to find stuff to write in, because it is attached in your notepad. Cheap and clever!

Usando materiales comunes al alcance de la mano, puedes fabricar un útil bloc de notas que incluye un lápiz. Así no tienes que perder tiempo buscando algo con que escribir, porque ya está en el propio bloc. ¡Barato e inteligente!

Step 1: Tools and Materials / Utiles Y Materiales

You will need:

* Several sheets of used paper.
* One sheet of cardboard.
* Magazines, photos, catalogs, old maps, gift paper... you like for covers.
* Two plastic rings from CD/DVD spindles.
* A rubber band.
* A small pencil.
* Paper punch.
* Rule, cutter and cutting mat.
* Glue for paper.

Also you may need paperclips or clothespins in one step, and super-glue for plastic rings.

Necesitas:

* Varias hojas de papel usadas.
* Cartón.
* Revistas, fotos, catálogos, mapas viejos, papel de regalo... que te guste para las tapas.
* Dos anillas de plástico, de las que vienen en las tarrinas de CD/DVD.
* Una goma elástica.
* Un lápiz pequeño.
* Taladradora de papel.
* Regla, cutter y superfície de corte.
* Pegamento para papel.

Además, puedes necesitar clips o pinzas en un paso, y super-glue para las anillas de plástico.

Step 2: Cutting / Cortando

Cut several sheets of paper in desired size. Then cut two pieces of cardboard longer than paper (e.g. 2 cm). Finally, use them as template to cut the paper for the covers, taking care to make three flaps. Do not glue now.

Corta varias hojas de papel al tamaño que desees. Luego corta dos trozos de cartón un poco más largo (por ejemplo 2 cm). Para acabar, úsalos como plantilla para cortar el papel de las tapas, teniendo en cuenta de dejar tres solapas. No lo pegues todavía.

Step 3: Attaching the Pencil / Anadiendo El Lapiz

In one piece of cardboard, make two holes at the bottom using the pencil (or scissors). Pass the rubber band through these holes as shown in pictures. The rubber will be covered in the next step.

En uno de los trozos de cartón, haz dos agujeros con el lápiz (o unas tijeras). Pasa la goma elástica por ellos tal y como aprecias en las fotos. La goma quedará tapada en el siguiente paso.

Step 4: Glueing Covers / Pegando Las Tapas

Now glue both covers folding flaps. Maybe you need to use paperclips or clothespins when glueing on the rubber band. Let it dry, but continue with next step.

Ahora encola ambas tapas doblando las solapas. Puede que necesites ayudarte con clips o pinzas para pegar encima de la goma elástica. Déjalo secar mientras pasas al siguiente paso.

Step 5: Punching and Finishing / Taladrando Y Finalizando

Punch the sheets and covers on the opposite border of the pencil. Now make a cut in plastic rings and pass through them the holes. I notice that these plastics rings are strong enough, and let you add new sheets of paper. But you can glue them if you want to.

Taladra las hojas y las tapas por el borde opuesto a donde está el lápiz. Haz un corte en las anillas de plástico y pásalas por los agujeros. He comprobado que son bastante fuertes y así siempre puedes añadir nuevas hojas en blanco. Pero puedes pegarlas si así quieres.
