Introduction: Transparent Clutch
Take this chic transparent clutch out with you for a night on the town! You can make it in under 10 minutes.
I got the idea for this project from HonestlyWTF. They have DIY instructions for this project as well.

Step 1: High Fashion
Transparent clutches from top designers.
Step 2: Materials
Clear Rectangular Hinge Box - I got mine from Tap Plastics, they sell them at the container store also but the ones from tap plastics are much better quality
Hand Drill
Door Knob - I got a cute flower one from Anthropologie for $6
Dremel - or a tool to cut the end of the bolt connected to the door knob

Step 3: Drill Hole
Use a hand drill or drill press to drill a hole in the top center of your box. This will be the 'handle' for your clutch.
Step 4: Cut Door Knob
The bolt at the end of the door knob will be too long for the clutch. I used a dremel to cut the bolt. Make sure you cut it short enough so it doesn't stick down in the clutch, but keep it long enough so you can put it through the clutch and still fit the nut on it.
Quick tip! Keep the nut on the bolt when your cutting, that way you can easily take the nut off and it will still fit the bolt. If you don't do this and try to put the nut back on after cutting the bolt it wont fit.
[This picture is a recreation of something I did a couple weeks ago, that is why the bolt is short]

Step 5: Attach Door Knob
Put the bolt on the knob through the hole you drilled in the box and screw the nut on the inside of the box. You now how a functioning transparent clutch!
