Introduction: Tucked Bowline

Tucking the bowline brings the standing end sand working end together resulting in a more secure knot.

The knot as presented is for decorative, small load bearing purposes only.

The loop is ideal for lanyard, zipper pull or key ring fob.

Step 1:

Bring working end (WE).over itself forming a bight.

Step 2:

Bring WE up through the bight forming the loop for your lanyard/pull.

Step 3:

Bring WE under the standing end,

Step 4:

And down through the bight. This completes the basic bowline.

Step 5:

Bring WE under the loop (under one strand).

Step 6:

Bring WE over one strand.

Step 7:

And up through the bight exiting to the right of the standing end.

If desired you could bring the WE to the left of the standing end. I prefer the looks of the WE on the right.
