About: //<3 Machines

Disassemble the doors from the fridge, make sure you detach the plastic parts from the inner side to avoid breaking them.

Remember to take your time and be patient as you work through these steps. Vinyl wrapping can be tricky, but with practice, you'll be able to create a beautiful, professional-looking finish.

Supplies

Vinyl wrap silver
Sharp utility knife
Measuring tape
Plastic scrapper
Spray paint
Paint thinner
Piece of cloth
Phillips screwdriver

Step 1: Paint the White Parts.

Clean the handle: Start by cleaning the handle with soap and water to remove any dirt, oil or debris. Dry it thoroughly with a clean cloth.

Shake the can: Shake the spray paint can well for at least 30 seconds. This will ensure that the paint is properly mixed and ready to use.

Test spray: Before spraying the handle, test the spray paint on a small, inconspicuous area to make sure that the color and finish are what you want.

Apply the paint: Hold the spray can about 8-10 inches away from the handle and spray in a steady, back-and-forth motion. Make sure to apply thin coats of paint and avoid spraying too much in one area to prevent drips.

Allow to dry: Allow the first coat to dry completely before applying additional coats. This may take several hours, depending on the humidity and temperature.

Apply additional coats: Apply additional coats of paint, using the same technique as before, until you achieve the desired coverage and finish. Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next.

Finish: Once you have achieved the desired coverage and finish, allow the handle to dry completely for several hours or overnight. Remove any tape or protective coverings from the surrounding area.

Optional: If desired, you can apply a clear topcoat to protect the paint and give it a glossy finish.

Remember to work in a well-ventilated area and wear protective gloves and a mask to prevent inhaling the fumes. Also, be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions on the spray can for best results.

Clean the excess of pain in undesired areas with a piece of cloth and paint thinner.

Unhappy accidents may occur.

Step 2: Wrap It Up!

Clean the surface: Start by wiping down the fridge with a clean cloth to remove any dust, dirt or debris. The surface should be completely clean and dry before you start wrapping.

Measure the vinyl wrap: Measure the vinyl wrap to the size of your doors, leaving a few extra inches on all sides to account for the sides and the depth of the doors.

Cut the vinyl wrap: Use a sharp utility knife or scissors to cut the vinyl wrap to the right size. Be sure to cut the corners at a 45-degree angle to prevent bunching or tearing of the wrap.

Peel off the backing: Carefully peel off the backing from the vinyl wrap, starting at one corner. You can use your fingers or a scraper to help you lift the backing without stretching or tearing the vinyl.

Apply the vinyl wrap: Carefully position the vinyl wrap over the box, making sure that it is centered and aligned with the edges. Start by applying the vinyl to the center of the box, then working your way outwards towards the edges.

Smooth out the vinyl: Use a squeegee or a credit card to smooth out any bubbles or wrinkles in the vinyl, working from the center outwards. Make sure that the vinyl is completely flat and adhered to the door.

Cut out the excess vinyl: Use the utility knife or scissors to trim away any excess vinyl from the edges of the box, making sure to cut it cleanly and evenly.

Finish the edges: To finish the edges, use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat up the vinyl wrap and stretch it around the edges of the door. This will give it a smooth, seamless finish.

Final touches: Use a soft cloth to polish the vinyl wrap and remove any fingerprints or smudges. Your fridge has a neat look now!
