Introduction: Two Strand Manrope Knot

The two strand manrope knot is an attractive stopper knot ideal for lanyards, zipper pulls, key ring fobs, etc.

You will need a hemostat or needle nose pliers to help complete the knot.

Step 1: First Tie a Wall Knot . . . . . .

Make a loop and bring right hand end under two.

Step 2:

Then bring the other end under, over two and down through the bight. Tighten.

Step 3: . . .then a Crown.

Bring the right hand end over, under the left hand end to complete the crown (overhand knot).

Step 4: Next Tuck Up . . . . .

Take left hand end and move it under the wall knot strand and up through the bight.

Step 5:

Do the same with the other strand.

Step 6: Then Tuck Down.

Tighten the knot slightly. There is an obvious place for the end to exit through the center of the knot. With a forceps pull the end through.

Step 7:

Do the same with the other end. Tighten knot and cut off the ends.
