Introduction: Unapproachable Box

-BOX THE UNAPPROACHABLE-

Cute monster protecting your belongings~~

Step 1: Get Prepared

Arduino material:

Servo Motor ×3

Arduino Uno Board

Ultrasonic Sensor Library

Exterior material:

Card board / Paperboard

Pastel Paper(green/black/white/red)

Tools:

Ruler

Cutting Mat

Utility Knife

Scissors

Double-sided Tape

Superglue

Step 2: Cut the Board

Cut the board into

21×11.5×5

21×11.5×2.5

two size

Step 3: Forming the Palate

Form the card board into the monster's palate:

*Demonstrates with 21×11.5×5*

(Figure 1)Stick the 21×11.5×5 paper board on the green pastel Paper(leave about 2mm~3mm space between card boards).

(Figure 2)Leave proper spaces and cut it down.

Step 4: Forming the Palate

Form the card board into the monster's palate:

*Demonstrates with 21×11.5×5*

(Figure 1)Take the figure 1 as reference and fold the extra green paper along the cardboard.

(Figure 2)Fold the cardboard. The cardboard must be raised to the vertical. Then stick the 4 corner all together.(The highlight part in figure 2)

Step 5: Forming the Jaw

Repeat step 3&4 using 21×11.5×2.5 cardboard

Make a proper size of lid(tongue modeling) that can nicely fit in the jaw box.

Step 6: Connect the Circuit

Step 7: Combine Palate

(Figure 1)Make a strut to connect the palate and Servo Motor.

(Figure 2)(Figure 3)Connect them with the same angle in figure 2 and 3.

Step 8: Forming an Eye

(Figure 1) Prepare six 6×6 cardboard

6×4 cardboard

5×5 paper formed eyeball

a piece of cardboard

(Figure 2) Stick six 6×6 cardboard on the green pastel Paper(leave about 2mm~3mm space between card boards).

(Figure 3) Leave proper spaces and cut it down.

(Figure 4) Stick some up and some leave spaces in order we put the Servo Motor in.

Step 9: Forming an Eyeball

(Figure 1) Make a strut(same as step 7's) by the cardboard piece and stick it on the back of the eyeball.

(Figure 2)Connect them with the same angle in figure 2.

(Figure 3) Put it in the cardboard box we made in step 8.

(Figure 4) It should look like this.

(Figure 5) Stick those corners all up.

Step 10: Build Up

Make a base to fix palate's Servo Motor and fix the jaw, so it looks like a wide-opened mouth.

Then stick the Ultrasonic Sensor Library on the central closing, so whenever people approaches the mouth, the Ultrasonic Sensor Library near by will send message to the Servo Motor, and it will help move the palate.

DONE~
