The Sandwich is a perfect recipe for all times. Be it breakfast, lunch, snacks or dinner, the sandwich can never go wrong for the occasion. There are probably a million ways of making sandwiches and the stuffings for it.

A sandwich is typically a recipe where some filling is served in between two slices of toasted or grilled bread. In this Instructable, I’ll show you how to make an awesome Veg-loaded Mayo Sandwich. Let’s turn on the Sandwich Maker !!

Step 1: Ingredients

To make this delicious sandwich, you’ll need the following ingredients. All of these are probably readily available in your kitchen.

  • Sandwich Bread
  • Tomatoes
  • Onion
  • Cabbage
  • Capsicum
  • Lemon
  • Mayonnaise
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper Powder
  • Sandwich Grill

Step 2: Clean and Chop

It is always advised to keep all the ingredients ready to cook before you actually start off . Same way, first wash the tomatoes, onions and the capsicum and chop them down. Keep these aside while you clean the cabbage. For the cabbage, remove a couple of layers away as it could contain dirt. Then slice the cabbage into small pieces and wash it.

Now we’re ready to make the salad that goes in between the toast.

Step 3: The Mayo Salad

As the name suggests, it’s obvious that the filling must have mayonnaise in it. So to make this filling, add all the Veggies into a mixing bowl. Add a little bit of salt and give it a rough mix. Now add required amount of mayonnaise to the bowl and start mixing it.

Also add pepper powder if you want it to be spicy. Mix all the ingredients properly and leave it for a while. Squeeze in a little lemon juice while mixing.

Step 4: It’s Grill Time

Once you have the filling ready, it’s time to turn on the Sandwich grill. After the sandwich maker is heated, butter up the surface a little bit .

Now place make the sandwich by placing the salad in between two slices of bread. Gently press it all together and place it into the sandwich maker and close it. All you have to do now is to wait for it to be grilled.

Step 5: Slice and Serve

Once the sandwich is grilled, you will already sense the nice aroma coming out of the grill. Remove it out of the grill and transfer it onto a serving plate.

This sandwich is best enjoyed on a warm evening. It is also best tasted with tomato ketchup. Serve hot and enjoy !! Let me know how it turned out in the comments below.
