Introduction: Waffle Breakfast Sandwich

About: I am slowly (but steadily) gaining knowledge of woodworking and some (very) basic metalworking. I do some basic python, C++ coding and circuitry. I also cook.

Eggs on waffles? Whaaaaaat?!! It makes sense really. At least, it does to me. In this instructable I will show you how I made a really good sandwich.

Supplies

Here's what you need-

  • 2 mini waffles
  • 1 egg
  • 1 hash brown patty
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • spinach (optional)

Step 1:

First you need to cook your waffles. I used a toaster. While your waffles are cooking heat a frying pan to medium. once your pan is warm then crack your egg into it and place your hash brown in the pan, leaving space between them to allow for the egg spreading. If you want to, then salt your hash brown (if you haven't already), salt and pepper your egg, If you want it.

Step 2:

By now my waffles are done in the toaster. If you want cheese then now is when you would slice it so that it is ready to be placed onto your egg (when its done). As you probably noticed, the egg yolk is popped. I purposely pop my egg yolks when I an putting the egg on a sandwich. It makes less of a mess when you bite into your sandwich, if you pop the egg while its still cooking. When your egg is done then take it out of the pan and place it on one of your mini waffles. Then put your cheese on the egg so that it can melt slightly.

Step 3:

Finish cooking your hash brown then put it on top of your egg and cheese. The cheese will then melt more and the relatively hot hash brown will keep the sandwich warm for a bit longer.

Step 4:

Now you top your sandwich with your spinach, ketchup, and whatever else you want. If you want your sandwich to be a bit spicy the you can add some pepper jack cheese. and now your sandwich is ready to start that party for your taste buds!
