Introduction: Win at Solitaire Every Time! Or: How to Cheat at Solitaire.
You can do a lot with a deck of cards. You can play games, throw them, perform with them, and even make a top hat. One of the most popular card games is Solitaire, included with every copy of Windows. This game is generally played alone, unless you have spectators, then you're playing alone with people watching you. With this Instructable, I will show you how to cheat at this game. Note that I did not create these myself. I do not know who did.
Step 1: Step No. 1
To start, you must separate the cards according to suit. the cards can be in any order, because we'll get to that in the next step.
Step 2: Step No. 2: the Return of the Unoriginal Step Names!
And now is when the order matters! Put the four suits in order of Ace to King, King on bottom, Ace on top. Just like this: (top)A 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 J Q K(bottom).
Step 3: Step No. 3: the Son of the Unoriginal Step Names!
Now, take the cards and put them into four piles, instead of the rows the last picture had them in. Now that you have four stacks of cards, each one suit in order of Ace to King, you must put them together into one deck. Place the clubs on the table, face up. Next, place the Hearts on top of the clubs. Then the spades. And last, the Diamonds. All face up. Once you have this final pack, flip the entire deck face down.
Step 4: Step No. 4: the Night of the Unoriginal Step Names! (Now With Extra Capitalization!)
Now take the deck, face down, and deal three cards off the top. Then deal three more cards on top of those three cards. Continue going until you have all the cards on the table in three stacks. The last stack should have one extra card. This is normal.
Step 5: Step No 5: the Night of the Return of the Unoriginal Step Names!
Now place stack number one on top of stack number two. Then take the third stack and place it on top of the other two stacks, now one mega-stack. After the three stacks are together, you are done. Marvel at the deck, and prepare to cheat! One important note: DO NOT SHUFFLE THE FINAL DECK. Seriously, if you do, it will not work.
Step 6: Step No. 6: the Finale!
Congrats! You are done! Now deal the deck out as a normal game of Solitaire, and play. If you lose, you might have messed up the dealing. But other than that, you are practically guaranteed to win. Enjoy, have fun, and keep an eye out for my upcoming project: The General Guide To Magic Moves.

Actually I have a question, I would like to know how to manipulate the game so that it deals random 4 of a kind on each deal. Have been searching for a long time for some solution. Thanks

it doesn't work with the vegas syle. vegas style: same as the other except: 3 cards drawn at a time only drawing the top card of the face-up pile & only allowed go through the stock 3 times.

very nicely written Instructables! this can also be the basis for a lot of mathematical card tricks! Have however noticed that in step 3, when you list the suits, you list hearts twice instead of hearts then diamonds, just so you know! Take care! Matt
