How To Make Wood Slice Ornaments

Supplies

• Wood Slices
• Paint Brushes
• Acetone Nail Polish Remover
• Mod Podge
• Printer/Printer Pa
• Ribbons
• Drill
• Lig

Step 1: Print Design

• Find a design or designs that you like
• print design(s)(reversed)
• cut them out

Step 2: Transfer the Design

• Place the design face down on wood slice
• Brush acetone onto the paper
• "Burn" the image onto the wood by rubbing over the paper with the end of the brush

Step 3: Seal With Mod Podge

• Brush a thin layer of Mod Podge over the surface of the wood slices
• Allow it to fully dry
• Repeat on the other side of the wood slice

Step 4: Drill Hole & Add Ribbon

• Use a drill with a small drill bit to make a small hole at the top of the wood slice
• Put one end of the ribbon though the hole
• Tie the ends together in a knot
• Use a lighter to heat seal the ends(to prevent fraying)
