In this tutorial I will be teaching you how to make a simple throw pillow from a drawstring bag.

Step 1: What You Will Need:

For this DIY you will need:
~scissors
~needle
~thread
~a marker
~ruler
~a drawstring bag or an old pillow case
~and some pillow filling

Step 2: Preparing Your Bag/pillow Case

If you are using a bag you want to remove the string but if you are using a pillow case you don't need to worry about this.

You then want to measure how big you want your cushion to be and cut along the line.

Step 3: Sewing Your Pillow

Then you need to flip your pillow case inside out and draw two marks at the center of the opening side, make the marks about 2 & 1/2 inches apart. If this is confusing, look at the picture.

You then need to sew on either side up to those marks.

Step 4: Filling Your Pillow

Once you've sewn up to the marks, you want to turn your pillow the right way around, you should then have a small opening at the top of your pillow. Start filling your pillow with pillow stuffing.
