Introduction: How to Make a Duct Tape Purse

I originally made this as a gift to my mom. It takes about a whole role of duct tape about 2 hours. I made 2 more after that for both my grandmothers.
well anyways hope you enjoy!!!

Step 1: What You Will Need

This is a list of things you will need,
time,
a roll of duct tape,
a crayon or marker either work,
a ruler or yardstick(i prefer yard stick),
and a scissors.

Step 2: The Hard Part, the Strips!!

you are going to need three, twenty inch strips. You will also need ten, eight inch strips.
this is the tricky part making the strips. But don't get frustrated stick with it!!! To make the 20 inch strips you can make three forty inch strips and fold them over each other. If you don't want to do that you can make six twenty inch strips and lay them on top of each other.
You do the same for the eight inch strips except for the amount and length of course.

Step 3: Weaving

After you have the peaces made then you weave it together.
How to weave it.
Fist you want to set the 20 inch strips so they are touching each other.
Second you place one of your 8 inch strips over the first and third 20 inch and under the second taping over the 8 in strip. if you have 2 colors of tape chose the one that you want as the inside to tape over it with.
Then weave, the shorter strips will stick up 2 inches that is okay. when you finish this tape the last one as you did to the first.

Step 4: Lining

This step is the easiest step, all you is cover it with the tape you want to be on the inside(if you have more than one color.)
Only cover one side, the other side should look like the picture on step three.
Cover the top part that sticks up on both sides.

Step 5: The Bottom

Now fold what you have made into an oval so the two ends meet then tape them together.
After you have that done make a sheet of duct tape big enough for the bottom to sit on.
Put the purse on the sheet and trace it with a crayon. Cut the oval shape out and tape it to the bottom of the purse.

Step 6: The Strap

make three, three and a half foot strips then braid them.
Tape the strap to the inside of the purse.

Step 7:

Yes, you're finally done
This is what your purse should look like.
