Introduction: 3D Print Easiest Towel Rack
This might be the easiest towel rack around there. It's so easy, I'm a bit ashamed to write an instruction because I know you're all clever enough to design one yourselves. But hey, sharing is caring so here is how I made the easiest towel rack.
Tools:
- Caliper
- 3D printer
- CAD software
Materials:
- A pencil
Step 1: Step 1: Measure, Design an Print
First of all, I measured the radius of a pencil using my caliper. Pardon me for the metric system, but I found this to be 7,7mm.
This might have been the most difficult step. Almost finished!
I used Microstation to design a small support. I included the STL file.
3D printed it twice using an XYZ Da Vinci 1.0, using red ABS, layer height 3mm, 3D density of 15%.

Step 2: Step 2: Combine and Install
Insert the pencil, find small screws (with a diameter on the threads of less than 4mm).
Screw in wall. Done.
