Introduction: 5 Vegetable Finger Snacks - (for 2+ Teeth Baby / Toddler / 1-2 Yrs )

Here is a best way to encourage your little-ones to love vegetables from an early age. I have added 5 Vegetable Finger Snacks in 5 steps.

How much to Serve:
1/2 cup - ( for 8 - 11 months baby )
3/4 cup - ( for 12+ months baby )


Step 1: Carrot Figner Snack

  • Peel the carrot and slice into tiny fingers
  • Heat a frying pan and pour a tsp of oil
  • Add the carrot pieces and cook until soft on medium-heat.
    (takes 4 - 5 minutes)
  • note: if the carrot dries quickly, add 1/4 cup of water and cook until soft.
  • Once the carrot turns soft, take them into a serving bowl.
  • Let it cool before serving ..

Step 2: Sweet Potato Finger Snack

  • Peel the sweet potato and chop into tiny fingers or sticks ..
  • Heat a frying pan and pour a tsp of oil
  • Add the sweet potato pieces and cook until soft and sligthly crisp around the edges.
    (takes 7 - 8 minutes on medium heat) ..
  • Once they are done, take them into a serving bowl.
  • Let it cool before serving

note: these sweet potato sticks are very tasty, you can try some too :)

Step 3: Beetroot Finger Snacks

  • Peel the beetroot and slice into tiny fingers
  • Heat a frying pan and pour a tsp of oil
  • Add the beetroot pieces and cook until soft.
    (takes 5 - 7 minutes on medium-heat)
  • note: beetroot tends to dry quickly. Pour 1/4 cup of water to keep it soft and speedup the cooking process.
  • Once they turn soft, take them into a serving bowl.
  • Let it cool before serving

Step 4: Beans Finger Snacks

  • Chop the beans into 1" pieces ( cut them into tiny pieces for 8 - 10 months baby )
  • Heat a frying pan and pour a tsp of oil.
  • Add the beans and cook until soft.
    (takes 5 - 8 minutes on medium-heat)
  • Once they turn soft, take them into a serving bowl.
  • Let it cool before serving

Step 5: Pumpkin Finger Snacks

  • Peel the pumpkin and slice into tiny fingers or pieces
  • Heat a frying pan and pour a tsp of oil
  • Add the pumpkin pieces and cook until soft on medium-heat.
    (takes 6 - 8 minutes)
  • note: add 1/4 cup of water if needed while cooking...
  • Once they turn soft, take them into a serving bowl.
  • Let it cool before serving
