Introduction: Adjustable Power Supply Using Diodes
Today I am going to make Adjustable power supply circuit using 1N4007 diodes.This circuit is very easy to make and it is very cheap.
Let's get started,
Step 1: Take All Requirement Parts As Shown in the Picture
Required parts -
(1.) Diode - 1N4007 x7
(2.) LED - 3V x1
(3.) Digital multimeter x1
(4.) Power supply - 5V DC
Step 2: Solder Diodes
Solder all 7- diodes in series as shown in the picture.
Step 3: Now Connect the Power Supply Wire
Connect 5V power supply to the circuit.
Connect +ve wire of power supply to +ve side of diode.
and connect -ve wire of power supply to -ve side of diode.
Step 4: Now Give Power Supply to the Circuit
Now give 5V DC power supply to the circuit and measure voltage in different-different points of diodes using digital multimeter.
Observation - Now we observe the potential difference at different-different points of diodes is changes.
Step 5: Give a Load
Now check the circuit by connecting a load.
As in the picture I connect a LED in different-different points of diodes and I observe that LED glow in different-different amount as you can see in the images.
This type you can make an adjustable power supplier circuit using diodes.
