Hey momoluvers it Momo and today I'll be showing you a super fun last minute beauty related gift for those who love skin care and festive fun! This is a candy cane sugar scrub that helps exfoliate skin, prevent various blemish breakouts like acne, increase skin cell regeneration, and much more. You can look up all of the benefits here if you want to learn more.

Step 1: Supplies

1. Candy cane
2. 1/4 cup Coconut oil or olive oil
3. 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
4. Peppermint extract
5. Red food dye
6. 2 bowls
7. Mixing spatula
8. Jar to put it in
9. Labels above (optional printable)

Step 2: Crushin It

Crush up your candy cane until you have a fine powder. As pictured above, the chunks are a little big, but it's okay to make them smaller and more powdery

Step 3: Mix It All Up

Put your sugar and candy cane chunks in a bowl and combine them well

Add the coconut oil as well as peppermint extract for an extra minty scent.

Stir in a small amount of red food dye to the mixture and combine well.

Step 4: Make a Separate Mixture

In a separate bowl, use the same ingredients, but leave out the candy cane and the dye. This will form the white layer that makes the gifts even cuter!

Step 5: Layer It

Put in a few scoop of the pink mixture and pat it down until it's well compressed and smoothed over on the top.

Continue to add layers being sure to level the top each time for a clean switch to the next color.

Step 6: Lip Scrub

My friend has super chapped lips all the time especially in the winter so I thought I'd make her a separate container of a lip scrub. The small jar only contains the pink mixture, because I had some left over. Lip scrubs are super beneficial and can last for so long! Lip scrubs remove dead surface skin to make your lips soft and healthy. They also make your lips moist and less susceptible to cracking and breaking. Plus, it goes great paired with the body scrub!

Step 7: Labels

You can print out my labels and put them on your jar to make them extra fancy! This is a cute and professional touch that I would recommend if you're giving these as gifts!

Step 8: Finished!

And that's it! This is a super easy gift that is perfect for anyone who has acne, cracking or unhealthy skin, or anyone who just loves peppermint! I hope y'all have fun making this adorable gift, let me know if you want more of these cheap and simple gifts this year.
