Introduction: Chipotle Bowl

Hi all !

We all like to eat in restaurants once in a while . Likewise My family likes to eat in a famous Mexican Restaurant very often . So i thought why can't we try preparing the same restaurant style food in home . Homemade dishes are so healthy & hygienic . Chipotle Mexican Grill is an American chain of fast casual restaurants in the United States. I would like to replicate the Chipotle Bowl style of recipe and enjoy eating the restaurant style food at home . It is very easy to prepare . I request you all to try this recipe and please do comment below, if any suggestions and compliments . Thank you !

Step 1: Ingredients :

White rice - 1 cup

Boiled black beans - 2 cups

Onions - 2 ( medium size , chop one onion into long silces and chop another into small dices)

Tomatoes - 2 (medium size)

Sweet corn - 1 1/2 cup

Green bell peppers - 1/2 cup

Jalapeno - 1

Avacado - 2

Lettuce- 1 cup (finely chopped)

Mccormick Taco seasoning mix (you can get it in an american store)

Mccormick Fajita seasoning mix

Sour cream - 1 cup

Cilantro (coriander leaves) - 1 cup finely chopped

Lemon juice -1/2 cup

Taco shells ( available in american store)

Salt

olive oil

Step 2: To Prepare Boiled Rice

Take 1 cup of white rice .

Add 2 full cups of water and boil the rice

Now take a bowl add the boiled rice , 3 Tbsp of finely chopped cilantro leaves , 1 tsp of lemon juice .

Mix it well and keep it aside.

Step 3: To Prepare Black Beans

Take 2 cup of black beans . Soak it for about 3 to 4 hrs in water and pressure cook it .

You can also use canned black beans available in store

I have used freshly soaked and cooked beans .

Now take a pan and heat it .

Add black beans and 1/2 cup of water and stir well in medium heat.

Now add 2 Tbsp of Mccormick taco seasoning to the beans .

Add little salt .

Stir well for 2 mins .

Off the heat . Pour it a bowl and keep it aside.

Step 4: To Prepare Fajita

Take a small pan , add 2 Tbsp of olive oil and heat it in medium heat.

Add sliced onion and green bell peppers to saute .

Saute it well in medium heat.

Add little salt and 1 1/2 spoon of Mccormick fajita mix.

Stir well and transfer it to a small bowl when done.

Step 5: To Prepare Guacamole

Take 2 avacadoes , smash into a fine paste .

Now add diced onion and little tomatoes and mix well

Add little salt and 1 Tbsp of lemon juice .

Add little cilantro leaves.

Mix it well and transfer it to a bowl.

Step 6: To Prepare Tomato Salsa

Take a bowl and add the finely diced tomatoes .

Add one finely chopped jalapeno .

Add very little salt and 1/2 tsp of lemon juice.

Add little chopped cilantro leaves .

Mix it well and keep it aside.

Step 7: To Prepare Corn Salsa

Take 2 cups of cooked sweet corn in a bowl.

Add 1 Tbsp of diced onion , little cilantro leaves , salt and 1 spoon of lemon juice .

Mix it well and keep it aside.

Step 8: To Prepare Chipotle Bowl

Take a bowl or a plate.

Add 2 scoop of white rice .

Next add Black beans prepared.

Next add little bell pepper fajita prepared.

Next add little tomato salsa above it.

Next add the corn salsa above it.

Next add 1 spoon of sour cream on it .

Next add 1 scoop of guacamole on it .

Add little shredded cheese (if needed).

Add chopped lettuce on it and your chipotle bowl is done .

It is very tasty and healthy dish .

Step 9: To Prepare Chipotle Tacos

Some like to have crunchy stuffs added to their dishes .

The same preparation can be done with taco shells and we can enjoy eating the crunchy tacos with same ingredients.

Take a taco shell , add white rice, black beans, fajita , tomato salsa, corn salsa, sour cream , guacamole,lettuce and shredded cheese inside the taco which will look like in the above picture.
