Here's an easy way to make a diamond shape bookmark. It only takes a few seconds to make and will have those flaps in the back. Hope you enjoy making it.:)

Step 1: Materials

These are the things you will need: 3x5 cards or regular paper scisors glue or tape or something sticky pencil (to decorate it) Color pencil or crayon or marker (also to decorate, I prefer color pencil)

Step 2: Folding

Now you will take your paper and fold the corner down to create a square. Cut out the square.

Step 3: More Folding

Then you will fold the corners inwards. After that you glue the folds down.

Step 4: The Last Fold

The last fold is when you hold the square like a rhombus and fold the tip inwards but don't glue or tape it down. It will be the flap.

Step 5: Decorating (optional)

If you want to then you can color the diamond and add the lines that make it it more look more like a diamond. But color it first so it will be easier to draw the lines.
