Surprise your loved ones in the morning!!

This would make a healthy and a wholesome breakfast. How about some twist to regular bread, butter and egg?

Easy to make. Lovely to see. Sure your kids would love to have bread and egg with a twist.

You are late to the office? It just takes minutes to make a wholesome breakfast.

Step 1: Ingredients

Ingredients:

Serves - 1

Preparation Time - 2 Minutes

Cooking Time - 5 Minutes

Egg - 1

Bread - 1

Butter - 1 Tbsp

Salt - as required

Pepper - 0.5 Tsp

Tomato - 1 Tbsp

Oregano - 1 Tsp

Capsicum - 1 Tbsp

Onion - 1 Tbsp (Optional)

Step 2: Heart

Cut a heart in middle of each slice of bread. Keep the cut half of the heart too.

Step 3: Fry

Melt Butter. Fry the bread ( even the heart) in frying pan on medium heat until lightly browned on one side.

Flip bread and brown the other side lightly.

Step 4: Separate

Crack the egg. Separate the egg yolk and white.

Note: You can either crack it without the yolk breaking. Or you can even break the yolk.

I like it separate so I have done it this way.

Step 5: Cook

First pout the white into the heart. Cook for 30 seconds on medium heat.

Add the egg yolk. I just pushed the yolk with the spatula into the corners of the heart.

Cook on medium heat till the whites are done.

Step 6: Finish

Take it out of the pan. The heart bread nest can be served with the browned butterd hearts.

Step 7: Serve

Serve with some chopped tomatoes, capsicum and Oregano to give an Italian Touch.

Add salt and pepper while having the egg nest.

This would make a healthy and a wholesome breakfast.
