This Instructables will attempt to teach you how to charge your phone wherever, and whenever.

Step 1: Materials

You will need:

Cigarette lighter car charger (with female USB)

300RPM DC Motor

Soldering iron

Wire

A drill, plastic wheel, or a series of cogs to spin the motor

Glue gun (optional, but helpful)

Step 2: Prepping the Motor

First, you need to identify the two pegs on the DC Motor. One will be longer than the other, this one is positive. solder wires to both pegs, and leave them for now.

Step 3: Setting Everything Up

After you have prepped your DC Motor, you next want to connect it to your charger. Solder the wires as indicated in the diagram above.

Step 4: Finishing Your Charger

After the motor, and the charger are soldered together, you now need a way to charge your motor. As stated in the materials, I recommend a drill, a small plastic wheel, or a series of cogs to spin your motor enough to charge a phone. Setup your preferred method of charging your motor, plug in your phone, and get to charging!
