Homemade Play Dough

Kids love play dough, but is it affordable if you can make your own for under $1.00

Step 1: Materials

1 cup flour

1/2 cup salt

1/2 cup water

(If it is too dry add more water)
(If it is too sticky add more flour)

Food coloring

Step 2: Steps

In a saucepan add the water
Then add the flour little by little and stirring
Add salt
And add a few drops of food coloring depending on the brightness of the dough you want

Step 3: Kneading

Knead the dough the traditional way
Add essential oils for a sweet scent
CAUTION: The dough will be hot

Step 4: Caring for Your Homemade Play Dough

Store in a plastic bag
To keep dough firm, store in the refrigerator
