Hot Air Balloon Valentine Mailbox

With some strips of colored paper you can easily make this darling hot air balloon mailbox for your child's Valentine's Day party. 

We decided to use the colors of the rainbow. We used one inch strips of paper cut from 12 inch wide card stock. We cut two of each color and taped them together to make the strips 24 inches long. The longer the strips, the bigger your balloon will be and the bigger the basket it will hold for your Valentine's. Using a rivet or brad at the top of the balloon is necessary in order to keep the strips together.
