I show a simple trick to easily remove potato skins. Instead of using a peeler I use a sharp knife to score the potato around its center. Then the potato is placed in boiling water until it is cooked. The potato is then placed into a bowl of cold water for a few seconds so it is cool to touch. Then the potatoes skin can be easily pulled from the center removing all the skin from the potato in 2 pieces.
