In this instructable, I will show you how to make Broccoli and Cheese Soup.

Step 1: Ingredients
For this recipe, you are going to need:
3 c broccoli florets cut into small pieces
2 c freshly grated cheddar cheese
1 c heavy whipping cream
1 c matchstick carrots
1/2 tsp pepper
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 c chicken broth
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1 c milk
1/2 c diced onions
1/4 c all-purpose flour
1/4 c unsalted butter
Step 2: Mmmmm.. Butter.
In a large pot, melt the butter on medium heat.
Step 3: Add Some More Stuff.
Now add the carrots, onions and broccoli and cook for about 5 minutes until they are softened.
Step 4: Add Even More Stuff.
Now add the chicken broth, milk and heavy whipping cream and stir until combined.
Step 5: Add Even More Stuff.
Now add the seasonings and mix in thoroughly. Cook for 10-15 minutes until the sauce is thickened.
Step 6: You Guessed It....add More Stuff.
Now add 2/3 of the cheese and stir until combined.
Step 7: Cheesy!
Use the rest of the cheese to top the soup.
Step 8: Enjoy!
