Introduction: How to Make a Loom Band Bracelet

Welcome to my instructable!

Today I will be teaching you how to make a Loom Band Bracelet. I will explain my method to you in both a video and steps with images that you can follow along with.

If you are a Visual/Listening Learner then I advise you to go to the next page, see what materials you require for your preferred method, and then return to this page and watch the videos for whichever method you prefer.
If you are a Reading/Visual Learner then I advise you to go to the next page, see what materials you require for your preferred method, then proceed to either page 3 to get to the first step.

Step 1: Materials Needed

* = colours of your choice

MATERIALS:
Two of your fingers (Preferable your point finger and middle finger)

Loom Bands*

Loom band Clips (usually come in a loom band packet)

Step 2: Get the Base of the Bracelet

Put your fingers up into a peace sign. The take one loom band, twist it so it looks like an 8. Make sure each finger is in each hole.

Step 3: How to Make the Body of the Bracelet

Take another loom band, do NOT twist it, keep it normal like a 0 shape and place it around your two fingers. After you have done that your two loom bands should be on top of one another. Then, you take both sides of the lower band and bring them over your fingers and leave them on top of the second band (KEEP THE SECOND BAND IN PLACE WHILE DOING THIS).

Step 4: How to Add a Pearl (Not Compulsory)

(I didn't have a pearl (or bead) so i used a hair tie)

Take the next loom band and a pearl. You will then pull the loom band through the pearls hole until it is in the middle of the band. You should then have 2 holes to put your fingers in, on either side of the pearl. Put your fingers through and take both sides of the lower band and bring them over your fingers and leave them on top of the third band.

Step 5: Keep Doing the Body + Checking for Fit.

Now you keep doing the previous step. You place a loom band around your fingers (with or without pearl), take the bottom band and bring it over your fingers and rest it on the bands. Keep doing this, add pearls whenever you like.

The bracelet will get longer and longer in between your fingers as you add more and more loom bands. Soon when your think it is long enough, with your other hand pull the bracelet around your wrist to see if it fits, if it does not fit keep going. If it does fit, scroll to the next step.

Step 6: Fastening Your Bracelet

Take a loom band clip and press in both sides of the first loom band and do the same with the last loom band. This will keep your bracelet intact while you wear it. WELL DONE!

Step 7: Thank You

Thank You!
Thank you for choosing my instructable to follow. I hope it was easy enough to follow and that you are very happy with your end result. Thank you for choosing my instructable.

This instructable was a school project which is graded, I would appreciate any feedback through comments on how I could have improved this. My inspiration for this was my sister, since she always pestered me to make these type of loom bands for her since she does not know how to make them herself. When the project came up, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to make this for her, so I did. I hope this helps her as well as you.
