I'm absolutely confused....what is the use of this match with a blob of hot glue close to the head of the match?

Pardon my ignorance of prison survival skills 😂

to be honest, i saw this on TV, inmates cant carry lighters, or glue guns, some times you have to quick apply something, a poster, a photo aso.
Maybe you fix a loosen belt on your sandals (happend to me, had to walk all day with a loosen shoe.)

This all is unneeded if you got a lighter, and you are allowed to carry and use it.

Mostly, you now what it is usefull for, is when you need it, but don´t have it.

    As with all things !

Thank you! Very much makes sense now. Having not been in that situation, was not a simple matter of me imagining the use of this.

I actually carry one or two hot glue sticks in my bushcraft bag, which can come in handy for small repairs & emergencies.

I still think its cool, cut off a fresh bit of glue stick -drill a hole and slide on a bunch.
This is a good strike match. I think you have a good survival tool for a tool kit here.

    Peter

imaginable as a product, a type of sleeve, diameter like glue stick,
with the function of a pyro torch, you ignite it, and it flows out a certain
    amount of liquid glue.
But there is no open flame, the device is not dangerous hot.

Would be great as Survival article ...
So my contribution was just a "utility model"
    Until then, Peter

p.s. got some viral probs, might reply in december again....

    GOD bless YOU all !

I think I might actually make this. my soldering iron heats up faster than my hot glue gun so I have a nasty habit...
