Introduction: KINK'S "HOW SWEET IT IS!" POTATO SALAD

About: In my shop I have a name for hammer, saw, and plier. The saw is Tess, the hammer's Joe, and Glumdalclitch is the plier. Yes, I'm brillig, and my slithy toves still gyre and gimble in the wabe. With that, le…

Mom grew up at 373 Chauncey Street in Brooklyn just down the way from Jackie Gleason. Trivia: What was the address of the Honeymooners' apartment?

This is a recipe mom gave me. It's sweet. How sweet is it? Hey, fuhgeddaboutit!

Step 1: RECIPE

Red potatoes, skin on, cut into little cubes. About 2 lbs.

1 cup Mayo. I always bring out the Hellmann's to bring out the best.

2 Tbsp vinegar

1 1/2 tsp salt

1 Tbsp sugar

1/2 cup sweet onion.

ALL ABOUT SWEET ONIONS

Step 2: BOIL

In Brooklyn we say BERL.

About 10 minutes until tender. NOT mushy.

Step 3: MIX THE INGREDIENTS

While the potatoes are cooking, mix the ingredients. Wifey doesn't like big chunks of onion so I use the mini blender.

Step 4: SERVE COLD

Youse guys can serve it the way you want, but I'll admit grabbing several bites when it's still warm. And to quote the Great One: How Sweet It Is!
