Step 1: Start With a Base Coat

Step 2: Apply the Nail Polish of Your Choice

I used Sally Hansen diamond strength.

Step 3: Draw the Music Staff

Wait for the nail polish to completely dry. Then you can either draw curved or straight lines for the staff. I used a nail art pen by Sally Hansen.

Step 4: Draw the Music Notes

Draw the music notes on the staff. Start by drawing a ball or balls on top of the staff lines. This will be the note head. Then after you draw the note head(s) draw a vertical line coming up from them for the note's stem. If you are drawing an eighth note, draw a small horizontal line coming out from the top of the stem for the notes flag. If you are drawing two eighth notes together, connect them with a horizontal line at the top of the two stems.
