Complementing my previous project, this time more than an Instructable I just wanted to add a simple design to the pedalboard that I may someday put together.
All of my pedals depend on 9V either battery or external power supply to work. There are some products from Voodoo Labs, MXR, T Rex engineering, and others that provide several isolated 9V outputs. It shouldn’t be complicated to create something similar for much less money
I already have 5 Radioshack 12.6v 300ma PCB Mount Miniature Transformer 273-1385b (pictured). The output current is 300 mA, more than enough to power effect pedals.
The design is the direct application of the LM7809 voltage regulator and I am using SMD diode bridges MB10S.

Step 1: Using DIYLC for the Board
The design is very simple and I replicated one supply times 5. The schematic and board design are attached. Also included is a PDF file with the traces for the board a 1:1 scale and mirrored ready for PCB transfer.

Step 2: Soldering Components, Putting Things Together
I, once again, used the transfer method to create the board layout and ferric chloride as enchant. The traces are thick so I did not have to worry too much about them not coming out right. The result is shown in the pictures.
My next project will probably be to put together the looper and 2 of these power supplies, changing one 7809 for a 7805 to power the looper.
I shall be set after that.
