Rattle Drums - Musical Instrument - Twist / Pallet Drums

To make this musical instrument

You will need:
1 Inner tube from industrial paper rolls or carpets
1 Dowel rod / bamboo
2 Beads
String
Newspaper
Paint

Step 1:

Step 2:

Cover one side with newspaper and PVA, coat with tissue paper and PVA
Once dry do the same to the other side

Step 3:

Paint

Step 4:

Once dry drill holes for handle and string.

Thread string through using a length of thin metal rod or wire.

Hot glue handle in place, tie on beads and use hot glue gun to prevent string slipping in it’s holes.

Step 5:

Decorate and enjoy
