Restore Rye Crispbread Crispness

Has your Rye Crispbread lost its crispness and you are ready to serve a delicious snack to your friends with it? Here what you have to do to save yourself a quick trip to the superstore and some embarrassment.

Step 1: Turn on the Oven

Set the oven to 350F and wait for it to reach the temperature.

Step 2: Heat Up the Rye Bread

Simply put the Rye Bread in a pizza pan and then let it cook in the oven for about 10 minutes. The brand that I usually buy is disc shaped that fits perfectly in the pizza pan. Put one disc of Rye Bread per pizza pan. It has to lose the moisture that got in it.

Step 3: Let It Sit

After 10 minutes, remove the Rye Bread from the oven. Let it sit for about 5 minutes. After that it should taste even better than the fresh one.

    That's a good tip. I usually repackage hardtack crackers that come in paper with plastic bagging, it really helps.
