Introduction: Cranberry Banana Pecan Smoothie

About: I am married with two children. Spring, summer, and fall are my very favorite times of the year. I enjoy working in the yard, sewing, cooking, quilting, gardening, and creating. I do this to keep my sanity.

This recipe was inspired by the "Raw Food Contest." I must say it was challenging to make a recipe from all raw foods.  I decided to make my own raw pecan milk and this recipe was made from the milk.  It had a very smooth and fruity flavor.  My family enjoyed it.  
There are many health benefits from eating cranberries. They are another fruit that is high in vitamin C, which fight infections and has been known to help with bladder infections.  



Step 1: Recipe

Ingredients: 
  • 1 Cup raw pecan milk or any raw milk, raw almond milk, raw cashew milk, 
  • 1 banana
  • 1 Cup whole fresh cranberries
  • Sweeten with raw organic honey

Step 2: Utensils

What you will need:
  • Blender
  • Drinking glass
  • Spatula 
  • Measuring cup
  • Measuring spoon

Step 3: Preperations

Method:
  • Place raw milk into the blender.
  • Add the bananas.
  • Add the cranberries. 
  • Sweeten with honey
  • Blend 1 minute.

Step 4: Serve

Pour and serve:
  • Pour into a glass
  • Add cranberry garnish
  • Serve
  • Enjoy

Step 5: Sunshiine's Final Thoughts

This beverage passed families approval.  We will be adding it to our list of smoothies.  It was very fresh and fruity.
