Thank you very much doing2much for your comment. I have always thought of science more as something fun than something complicated. Best regards

Hello razordu30, thank you for your comments on some technical aspects of the Instructable and especially for the legal aspects. I think you're absolutely right about the possible legal problems related to the release of R134a into the atmosphere and while the example used in the Instructable is for demonstration purposes I find it prudent to do as you tell me and include a disclaimer. Thank you so much for taking the time to warn me. Best regards

I tried to attach the file but Gmail does not allow sending it, even compressed, for security reasons. I'm sending you a link to the App Inventor Gallery for you to download directly. The Gallery version (SoundSpeed_2020) is earlier than the version in my Instructable project (SoundSpeed_2021) because this version has extensions external to App Inventor which is not allowed at the moment. https://gallery.appinventor.mit.edu/?galleryid=416a141f-eccc-44ce-b4bc-31eff40ce90f

Thank you very much smooth_jamie for your comments especially because you have had the experience of using a commercial DTA device. Part of my interest in making Instructables is to show that the scientific concepts behind many laboratory measurement devices are simple. It's fun being able to get results of scientific value with such basic equipment as an Arduino, a light bulb, and an aluminum foil cover :)
