I had the same issue after using mine for about a week. I wound up putting a thin layer of glue on the bare metal of the hook, and it held the earpiece straight. I used hot glue, but if you have a latex glue that'd work better I think. Just remember to let it dry before clipping it on, it's only meant to grip better, not to stick it permanently.

I occasionally like to make wands with my kids, I've always thought about documenting the process after I've finished, so they never get uploaded. Over the past few years I've made Voldemort's wand, Dumbledore's wand, Miss Granger's wand, and McGonogall's wand. I use dowels for the base, and add paperclay, and hot-glue. The jewel on the end of my McGonogall wand is a broken lite-brite peg. I'm better with additive sculpting than I am subtractive, so I appreciate what you did with yours.

It may vary by state, or country. I was always under the impression that the first cert was 12 years, and re-certs are only good for additional 4, or 5 years. I wasn't sure, that's why I didn't specify. There are lots of reasons it's good to know about your tank, and knowing is half the battle when it comes to not getting ripped off. I agree, however this idea was convinced of necessity. I thought I had small party favor boxes in the house, but it turned out I didn't. In the box where I thought they were was a small stack of Christmas cards that my wife bought years ago, so I used them.If you're going to recycle old cards, I wouldn't suggest using them for food, just because you don't really know how clean they are (especially if they ever contained money. Gross!) You can also play with the measurements to fit your needs. Thanks for the support.

How hot does the coffee pot get? Also, how do you stop smoke from escaping the box? I would expect pressure to build with the pump forcing the air only one way. I thought about a similar project for cheese, but the cheese would need a couple of hours, and I thought the lid of the box would leak, or pop.

I guess I'm lucky but there's one less that 200yds from my house.Being as this hack is though, you can use the boxed supermarket doughnuts, as even day-old ones are good this way.Good luck with that genie.

I've done that too for paper labels. I find that the plastic labels' adhesive doesn't dissolve the same way though. I've even used gasoline for removing labels, but then they tend to smell bad for a while :)

WD-40 is great too. I often find scrubbing pads that are impregnated with soap are the best (like Brillo).

I know this is an old instructible now, but I have a question based on a project I'm thinking about utilizing PC fans.What's the noise level like on this fan? As I know that sometimes PCs get loud, and I'd imagine that with 16 fans (more than I'm planning on using) it'd be unbearable in a small enough area that it'd be useful.Also, what's the power consumption if you're using a PC power supply?
