    Hi, thank you so much, I'm glad to see people interested in my project!I don't think I used a template for the violin. I made this several years ago, so I don't remember exactly what I did, but I think I used a real violin and traced the outline for the body and copied it that way. If you don't have an actual violin to copy there are some sites you can find online that might have an outline you could print out. Even if the site is for making a real violin the dimensinos would sitll work fine. If you do use a template for a real vioin you would simply use cardboard instead of wood and wouldn't need to pay attention to very many of the details because they are only for the sound and a cardboard violin won't produce any sound. You also won't need any fancy tools only regular glue and some sort of tool for cutting cardboard, I used hot glue, scizzers and a box cutter. Below is a pdf with some templates in it that would work.
