The way to remember is A=AMERICAN and B=BRITISH make sure you have your colour codes in the correct order and the you haven't had it as a crossover connection. Colour connection should be asOrange/WhiteOrangeGreen/WhiteBlueBlue/WhiteGreenBrown/WhiteBrownand if no connection after checking then I would advise testing this as your most likely find that on of the connections hasn't been punched down correctly, this can happen when using a screwdriver as it pushes the cables down but also spreads the blades. so maybe invest in a cheap Krone tool.
