Hi! If you're using a hardening clay, it shouldn't crack but we can't really advise too much on the best types in that regard. To prevent sticking, we'd suggest you use something like petroleum jelly to coat the mold piece first, to help the Wonderflex easily separate when you are done. Good luck!

For the smaller beads you need to use a beading needle, which are thinner than standard sewing needle. To get through leather, you want a shorter beading needle to reduce the risk of bending the needle going through leather.
Hi, it depends on the amount of Wonderflex used and what is used underneath, but the plastic itself would probably weigh 1-2 pounds.
To finish the back, you take a few small stitches and/or make a half-knot by making a stitch, then putting the needle through the loop before tightening. Do this a couple of times for security. This is the same technique used to finish any hand-stitching.
