Looking back I was thinking "why did i use a hand saw?" but it remembered that I have a very tiny bands saw and it opens up to about 4 inches. If you had a bigger one it would def work! You think you will make one?
haha! I did see what you did and it was impressive :)
Thanks man, it actually pretty easy, you could def do it in a weekend. The leather is the only real costly part.
I bought a kit (below) but only used the needles and thread and punch. I would buy a better punch though. I got the rivets from a leather, they were far better then the ones on amazon. https://www.amazon.ca/Leather-Stitching-Groover-Leathercraft-Projects/dp/B076Q6N333/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?keywords=leather+tools&qid=1555784693&s=gateway&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1
It was fir. I am sure you could anything middle of the road hardness
That is a very good question. This design is a bit under-built but I have been hanging my bike on it every day so that is good. I think if the back board was a 1/2" thicker it could support alot more, but then again, it just ned to support a bike.
Oh yeah, Id love to see an CNC version of this :) Keep me posted on that!
Thanks a whole bunch! I appreciate that! You planning to build it?
I used the budget ryobi one because that is all I had I designed the hands that size because I could fit nothing larger through the saw :)
Dang!!!! I wanna make this! You are multi talented!
Thanks!! I’m excited to make some othe types of hand hangers as well :)
