Hmmmm... powdered sugar no problem but without a microwave....then you need a heat source alternative.

thanks for the comment. I am not very sure ...but with the proportions I used i thought it was pretty close. but ginger can easily give it a sharper note if used in excess

shalom!thanks for stopping by to comment. the beauty with the clay pot is that when completely baked the bread doesn't stick to the walls. But of course a lining makes it whole lot easier.

Oh wow that looks gorgeous on you. Yes sometimes depending on the the brand of clay it might change the shade of color. especially those translucent shades of the limo brand.anyway thanks for the feedback and those lovely words. all the best to you. :)

Awww, most welcome.I know instances whete Vodka is life saving... but this one hit the nail!.... beautiful. Might use the vodka trick in the future baking projects

Wow! Gorgeous!.... I guess the beads look amazing in real rather than the photo. I am inspired to make one. However the silver clay is pretty expensive.

Of course you could glue in some dark seed beads for eyes or use tiny bit of black clay for the same.Actually didn't use a jump rings, instead directly made loops with the wire end which i had used to frame the wings.If you want to use jump rings at the ends attach it into the end loop.thanks

I love ginger too, and the vanillla in the recipe makes sure that the pungency of ginger is mellowed.. Thanks for going thru the instructable

Oh! I don’t know how dried cherries would result in but have tried with early season sweet cherries so that the cherries were sourish..In case it is too strong trychanging proportions of grappa to redwine.wine has lower alcohol percentwise.
