I'm mainly interested (with occasional digressions!) in working with music and audio technology, whether acoustic, electric or electronic. I particularly like upgrading and repurposing basic or legacy instruments and items of equipment in order to use them in new ways and/or to prolong their life, for both environmental and economic reasons. When suggesting Instructables outside this specialist area I try to provide ideas that are practical and useful to as many people as possible.
