wow!! C'est une excellente idée et très bien mise en œuvre. J'ai récemment posté des fichiers STL avec quelques modifications qui peuvent être utiles à ceux qui n'ont pas vos outils et vos compétences. Salutations et merci pour cette publication.wow!! That is an excellent idea and very well implemented. I recently posted some STL files with some modifications that may be useful to those who don't have your tools and skills. Greetings and thanks for posting this.

Thank you for your comment and suggestions. I'm glad you liked it.The "prop adapter that I used is unfortunately out of stock. You need one capable of holding the 5mm shaft of the stepper motor and with a thread length of 12mm and a diameter of approximately 6mm, so that it can also hold the hub of this wind turbine. If you send me the measurements of the one you bought, I could adapt the hub to that prop adapter and recommend it in the list of materials.Regarding the measurements of the stepper motor with connector, it is definitely something important. Send me the modifications to the housing that you propose and I will make the pertinent modifications and upload the modified STL.If it is possible, upload some photos of your Wind Turbine, I would love it!Greetings

I have planned in addition to the one you suggest a handcrank! Thanks for the suggestion
View Instructable »I just added a schematic in step 5 where I also include a 7805 linear regulator if you want to get a regulated output at that voltage for compatible usb devices. Greetings

Hi! Yes, I think it's totally doable to do what you want. Just solder two wires from the motor terminals and on its other ends a led. Keep in mind that the led has polarity and if it doesn't turn on, invert the cables. Keep me informed about any problems you face.

Thanks!!!
Thanks forall these great suggestions! I'll do an update and include the"608-ZZ" type of bearings in my list of materials. The procedure yousuggest to avoid unnecessary friction is also very interesting! Without adoubt, there will be an increase in the efficiency in this system with yourhelp.
Thanks for your comment!!!
View Instructable »That's the idea, although it seems to me that 12V for this little motor is an exaggeration :) I could burn it out. I have connected a 18650 lithium battery to the terminals of the electric motor and the system has managed to reach operating RPM quickly. If the wind speed helps, the wind turbine itself recharges the 18650 battery again. A "circuit protected" 18650 cell would be ideal. Thanks for your comment!!!

I just answered the comment you left me on my Youtube channel. I left you some recommendations but now I can give you others based on the information you provide me here. Apparently the problem is that the motor (generator) is not capable of achieving the minimum driving voltage of the Led that you are using, at the RPM that you are obtaining in the Rotor. It is likely that it is not exactly the same motor that I use whose electrical resistance at its terminals is approximately 10 ohms. Without having to change the motor and applying a little science I can recommend the following:Glue a larger cardboard disc to the base of the Rotor and move the motor away (more RPM)Uses lower voltage LEDsInterconnects multiple motors (generators) in series with the LED (Voltage is added)Scale the whole s…
