Thank you cj
thank you ... well, this particular garden is designed as an indoor garden for high nutrition, short cycle produces like microgreens and spices.. tomatoes and peppers are more intensive in nutrient needs, sunlight requirements as well growth duration. here is a url from my blog with a larger garden that is more suitable for flowering and fruiting plants https://kijanigrows.com/installing-a-4x8x1-kijani-grows-aquaponics-garden/
Thank you for the kind words and the correction ... I updated the instructable to reflect that I prefer plywood as it is made from veneer as compared to sawdust
thank you .. more coming
thank very much ... siphons work ... but not always as they depends on gravity and things not changing after the initial mechanical configuration - which is not always the case as biofilm sudges will change physical measurements. the other issue is you cannot change how your garden works once you build it as it id very dimension specific .. with a software controlled garden .. i can flood quick drain slowly, flood slowly drain quickly, change the flood and drain cycle behavior .. running drier or turning it into deep water culture ... all remotely without touching any physical tools. futher siphons are not data driven
